It comes preformatted HFS+ for macOS 10.11 and later and can also be used with Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 via a simple reformat. The G-DRIVE mobile is compatible with the Thunderbolt 3 interface, is powered solely using the USB or Thunderbolt bus, and comes housed in an aluminum case. Included is a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable that are compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1, which is also known as USB 3.0. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
