Produktinformationen
This genuine Apple adapter is for Macs with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) / USB 4 port that need to connect Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 hard drives, docks or displays. It works in both directions, so you can also connect Thunderbolt 3 devices to an older Mac with a Thunderbolt 2 port.
Highlights
- Connects external drives and Thunderbolt / Thunderbolt 2 docks to newer Macs
- Bidirectional: use Thunderbolt 3 devices with a Mac that has a Thunderbolt 2 port (macOS Sierra or later)
- Works with Thunderbolt displays such as the Apple Thunderbolt Display (this display needs its own power supply for the Mac)
- Does not support Mini DisplayPort / DisplayPort displays such as the Apple LED Cinema Display
