The RØDE WS11 is a furry windshield for the RØDE VideoMic NTG, for outdoor shooting in strong wind. An inner foam layer is wrapped in acoustically transparent synthetic fur, and it fits and comes off quickly.
Highlights
- Open-cell foam combined with a synthetic fur layer reduces wind noise without muddying the sound
- Rubber gasket stops wind from getting behind the mic's pickup area
- Quick to fit and remove, only 21 g
